I miss having a Yorkie like this one D’:
Babe. Its just a 4 letter word. People say it sometimes with out any meaning. But truth is, it means a lot. Whether its the first time they call you Babe, with you getting butterflies inside, all fuzzy and nervous. Getting the urge to kiss them because they called you Babe. Babe: it means you are theirs. Whether it might just be a slip of the tongue to call someone Babe, it means something somehow. This 4 letter word doesn’t mean no where near as much the 4 lettered word: Love. But it still gets you happy, and gets you excited they called you that. Babe. Its a nice word to be called by that special someone.

I got to spend 5 days in a row with my girlfriend :D, starting with the DC trip with some of the Donovan family. I met up with her at Port Authority around 9:30, and all of us took the bus to DC around 10:30. A 4-hour trip, not too bad.. and my babyy even met a puppy at the stop in Baltimore. hehe. When we got there we checked in at the first hotel, then went sightseeing. I honestly don’t remember which area/buildings we visited first, but I know some of our first pictures had the Washington monument in view. lol.. We took pictures at whatever place looked nice, and babyy almost lost the bracelet i gave her after we took pictures near this native american museum. It fell off when she jumped ‘cause something fell in front of us. Thank God we found it. Later that night we wandered Chinatown for the least inexpensive food, then walked around for a while for a Chase bank (i’d say a little over an hour?).. before we found out there was no Chase within 30 miles.. sigh. lol. It’s okay….The next day was just more sightseeing. most of the major monuments; Lincoln, Washington, an MLK Jr. monument, Korean War, WWII, and a few more. Since it was Good Friday, not all of us could eat meat and we made a reservation at a (expensive but worth-the-while) seafood place that babyy’s been to before. But we wandered a little bit and found a thai place with good prices, and the food was actually pretty good, and had nice portions. My salad was pretty small though. lol, it’s all good..Saturday was just visiting whatever we missed (I think that was only the White House)… and then we went to go try out the paddleboats, but ended up skipping that ‘cause of the huge line.. Instead we headed to the Jefferson memorial… We were hanging out by the edge of the water and me and babyy realized that someone had left their toddler alone by the monument. Her only company was their dog, and the mother and sister had left her there for at least 10 minutes before they came back. (whatever they were doing).. She started screaming and crying and they just randomly came back. The mother was laughing like it was a joke… After the Jefferson Memorial we headed to River street where we found a fish market with a lot of good fresh caught seafood. it was also where the cherry blossom festival was being held, so we stuck around for a bit. There were a lot of food trucks that we wanted to try, but once again they were expensive, or didn’t have what we wanted. afterwards we ate at Z-Burger, which is somewhat like 5 Guys, but I think it’s better… after a short stop at a grocery store (Safeway), we headed back to the festival to watch the firework show. The firework platform was so far from us that ‘boom’ of the fireworks was heard about 5 seconds after the actual firework went off, and there was no background music or anything playing during the ‘show’ .. I don’t know who planned the show, it was okay, but obv could’ve been better. Especially since most of the fireworks were a repeated pattern. For such a tourist attraction, you’d think a firework show in DC would be crazy good.. After we got back to New York sunday morning I went home with Babyy. We had lunch with her family, and then went to Jersey City for mass. When we checked the mass schedule, it said 6, 630 for some, but when we got there there was no late masses at any of the churches we went too. After that my dad picked me up from Henry Street and we both headed home.. But, I got to see her on Monday because me, her, and steph went to iPlay America again ‘til it closed. (: … I’m very grateful that I had the opportunity to see my girlfriend for 5 days in a row, God knows I miss seeing her every day and spending every night with her.. It was very tiring walking around DC, and their Metro system is kinda whack, but it was a great experience and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.. Thank God for the opportunity, and thank God that everyone made it home safely.
I wanna make breakfast with my babyy again.
